2011 - #5 - Nuttscorner Oval - Shamwreck 11
The Nuttscorner Oval season kicked off on Sunday 17th of April with one of the biggest meetings of the season, the unlimited National Bangers, Shamwreck 2011.

A great field of bangers was assembled, with representation of the Bears, the Levelers, Team Buckle and many others. The Big hit of the day was Ace Ash on 2010 winner Mark Degarmo in heat 2. Mike Flaherty of the Last Rites took the honours in the Shamwreck final, as well as best presented car.

In the support classes there was final wins for Adrian McKinstry in the ProStocks, Aaron Stewart in the Lightning Rods, and a heat and final double for Adam Best in the 2 Litre Hot Rods.
